I've taken entirely too long to get this page up. Mainly because I lost interest in my own web site once I got the bulk of it up.

Also, I don't quite know what to say. I've never really liked seeing my own words in print (ask any of my old teachers who got all the research papers I didn't proofread). Fortunately, this page isn't about me. It's about Mark. Who's Mark? Good question. (Who am I, for that matter? I am the person who owns this website -- in spite of what certain hosts would like to think.) But Mark is the coolest person I've ever met -- online or off. This is Mark:

(Mark at the mall near where I live. If you can identify it, congratulations.)

He likes Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, writing, meat-based dishes , his dogs, and me. He lives in Utah, just close enough to SLC that I wish the Winter Olympics were being held somewhere else this year. He's become too much a part of me for some maniac with a convoluted agenda to take him away.
He's been here to visit me twice and I've gone to visit him once so far and I want to go there again, though I've hated flying for a looooooong time now.
He's funnier than anyone I've ever known and has a frighteningly quick wit. He can draw, sing a song about someone combing their hair, and paints little metal figurines that are so small they could make me go cross-eyed.
He's a good foot taller than I am and he's not bad-looking, either. :)

Here he is with my dog:

Don't they look cute? :)

If you wanna see more, try and find my Utah website. And take a look at Mark's website, linked on the main page of my site.
